Oliver has more than nine years’ experience in economic development and regeneration. He manages evaluations, economic impact assessments and economic case making reports and has worked across the areas of land and property, labour market and skills, energy and broadband. Recent examples include an economic impact assessment of Lancashire’s further education colleges and a labour market and skills strategy for the Cheshire and Warrington LEP.
Oliver works with private sector clients in the housing, commercial and energy sectors, and has a strong track record of making the economic case for new development, with many of these projects successfully gaining planning permission. He has represented clients at public examinations and led several projects around housing need and housing impact assessments.
Outside work Oliver is a keen cook, likes going to concerts and festivals and spending time with his two-year old son.
