Jay joined Regeneris as a Consultant in 2015 after working within the Policy Unit for the Falkland Islands Government on a range of socio-economic projects for two years. He has strong qualitative analysis skills with experience in public consultations, policy review and data modelling. Jay specialises in land and property projects in London and primarily focuses on Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs). He has compiled the socio-economic chapters for a number of EIAs, which have been submitted alongside major planning applications for high profile, large scale developments such as the 10,000+ home mixed use development at Barking Riverside and the redevelopment of Elephant & Castle Town Centre.
Jay has also worked on several economic appraisals for Local Enterprise Partnerships across England, helping assess business cases for public sector funding using HM Treasury Green Book techniques and guidance. He has recently worked on large and detailed socio-economic baselines for strategies and local economic assessments such as Greater Essex Economic Commission and Milton Keynes Local Economic Assessment.
Out of the office Jay is a keen sportsman, with a passion for football. He also likes to travel and explore new places and has an eclectic taste for old and new music.
