George joined Regeneris in September 2016 after working in the Urban Regeneration team at Places for People. George has completed an MSc in Urban Regeneration at University College London, where he specialised in digital public consultation in regeneration projects. He has also gained valuable experience as an intern at the London Borough of Sutton.
Since joining Regeneris, George has undertaken range of work assessing the performance of London’s town centres, including a growth strategy for Streatham in the LB Lambeth and an evaluation of public realm interventions in Bromley Town Centre.
Over the past year George has worked on a range of detailed sector studies, including creative industries in Tottenham to build the case for the Mayor of London’s Creative Enterprise Zone initiative and the digital sector in the West of England. George has also worked on an in depth economic impact assessment for the proposed development of a major Westfield shopping centre in Milan.
In his spare time, George enjoys playing football and golf, travelling to new places and going to gigs.
