Regeneris Consulting is working with Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership (C&WLEP) to develop a value proposition for the region that will create a more coherent inward investment and placemaking offer. It will attract and retain investment and talent, and raise the profile of the area on the national and international stage. In addition it will illustrate the strength of the Cheshire and Warrington investment offer, focusing on key investment opportunities such as the Cheshire Science Corridor, Warrington New City and Constellation. The proposition will also focus on five target sectors including: advanced manufacturing and engineering; energy and nuclear; financial and professional services; life sciences; and logistics.
Lauren Newby, Associate Director at Regeneris said, “The recent publication of the refreshed SEP has set out a bold ambition to double the size of the Cheshire & Warrington economy by 2040. The study will provide partners with robust intelligence on Cheshire and Warrington’s competitive position, identify investment opportunities and provide recommendations on how these should be taken to market.”
Regeneris has teamed up with local inward investment specialist Breeze Strategy. Adam Breeze said, “Being able to help shape the inward investment proposition for my home county is something I’m really excited about. There’s so much happening in Cheshire and Warrington and there’s a big opportunity to attract more companies to the area.”
