Regeneris Consulting, The Manufacturing Institute (TMI) and Cushman & Wakefield are delighted to have been appointed to help New Economy to develop a greater understanding of manufacturing’s strengths, needs and potential in the face of rapid technological change.
This important new research will undertake detailed one-to-one interviews with 150 senior managers and directors, as well as examining the manufacturing infrastructure in the city region, and the need for new and different industrial premises. A key theme underpinning the work will be how new technology and the digitalisation of manufacturing processes and relationships are changing traditional workplaces and practices.
Regeneris Study Director Dr Stephen Rosevear said:
‘We believe that we have a team that really understands how manufacturing is changing in the city region. The practical insights from our colleagues at TMI, the land and property expertise of Cushman & Wakefield and our own knowledge of the wider economic context should mean that New Economy and local authorities throughout Greater Manchester understand how to capitalise on these new opportunities.’
