Charity of the Year 2017

42nd Street supports young people with mental health difficulties and their emotional wellbeing

We are delighted to announce that we have selected 42nd Street as our Charity of the Year for 2017. 42nd Street is an innovative Greater Manchester young people’s mental health charity with 36 years’ experience providing free and confidential services to young people who are experiencing difficulties with their mental health and emotional wellbeing. Using a combination of one to one support and group based creative projects, the charity aims to:

  • engage with young people under stress
  • provide interventions that promote resilience and recovery
  • enable young people to take part in opportunities for personal development
  • improve awareness of the mental health needs of children and young people among other professionals and the wider public.

Regeneris will be participating in runs, bake sales, walks and other fundraising activities to raise money for 42nd Street throughout 2017, so look out for them and please support where you can.

Regeneris Consultant Luke Bonnici has kicked off this year’s fundraising with a challenge to run 2017km in 2017. He is already over 700km into the challenge which includes a successful attempt at running 42.2km for 42nd Street in the Brighton Marathon last Sunday (see his LinkedIn article here).
