Why Regeneris Consultant Luke Bonnici Is Running 2,016km in 2016

Energetic regeneration consultant and self-proclaimed exercise fan Luke Bonnici has a thing for running. He just can’t get enough. Every year he challenges himself and finds that running for the lives of others fuels his passion even more. In 2016, his goal is to run 2,016 km whilst also raising £2,016 for Maggie’s Centres. Maggie’s Provides free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their families and friends. Find more information about Maggie’s Centres here. The money Luke raises throughout 2016 will go towards Maggie’s new Centre at Bartholomew’s Hospital close to Smithfield Market.

1,5000 km and Counting….

Luke started out with the Brighton Half Marathon in February and then did the Brighton Marathon in April. Following this Luke ran the Vitality London 10,000 at the end of May and the Great Newham London Race in July. His next big race will be the Royal Parks Half Marathon in October.

Charity of the Year

Maggie’s Bart’s is Regeneris’ chosen charity of the year. Throughout the year we have planned and held some great events to raise money including a bake sale, raffle and we are looking forward to continue our fundraising efforts at our 10-year anniversary at the end of the year.
