Aberdeen City Centre Masterplan Shortlisted for RTPI Award

We were delighted to hear that the Aberdeen City Centre Masterplan has been shortlisted in the ‘Excellence in Planning to Create Economically Successful Places’ category at the 2016 RTPI Planning Awards.

Regeneris, alongside BDP, Montagu Evans and AECOM, were appointed by Aberdeen City Council to prepare the City Centre Masterplan and Delivery Strategy. The plan needed to address a range of long term challenges in the area as well as responding to the more immediate threats associated with the fall in oil price.  Having inputted research, strategy and advice on delivery vehicles, we also pulled together an overarching Business Case to support the projects. The Masterplan itself was unanimously approved by Aberdeen City Council in June last year.

Further details and information on other nominated projects can be found here.
