Oliver Chapman
Oliver joined Regeneris Consulting in 2007 having completed an MA in Urban Regeneration at the University of Westminster. His first degree was a BA in Economics, gained from the University of Sheffield in 2001.Oliver is experienced across a range of our key service areas and has developed strong quantitative and qualitative research skills. He has prepared several economic baselines, including the Liverpool Economic Bulletin, the city’s leading economic review. He is also an experienced user of GIS mapping.
Oliver has a keen interest in labour market and skills policy, and has played an important role in several high profile studies. He contributed research and analysis to the North West employment and skills study (LSC) and has recently been involved in a study of the dynamics of dense labour markets in the Manchester City Region (MIER). Another area of interest is the role that housing and quality of place factors play in the economic and social vitality of an area. Oliver has undertaken extensive research on the links between housing and economic growth in the North West (NWRA) and has also been involved in a study of the factors involved in urban flight migration patterns in the East Midlands (EMDA).
In his spare time Oliver enjoys cooking, supporting Man Utd and extreme sports.
