Kate Downes
Since joining Regeneris in 2007, Kate has worked extensively on commissions relating to business support and innovation. Her specialisms include quantitative analysis, survey design and management and impact evaluation.Kate has played a key role in a number of large evaluation studies at Regeneris. She is adept at quantitative analysis of project performance data and has particular expertise in quantitative survey techniques. Most recently, she has designed and managed a large and complex web survey to inform our strategic evaluation of the national Knowledge Transfer Partnership programme.
Her skills in more qualitative aspects of evaluations such as organisational assessment, stakeholder consultation and project reviews have been used on a number of important commissions including our evaluation of the West Lakes Renaissance URC and of the Sheffield LEGI.
Kate is experienced in all areas of quantitative and qualitative economic research and is an experienced user of the key socio-economic data sources, analytical tools and modelling techniques. She has a strong track record of using financial and impact modelling to assist in project development and appraisal and has recently developed a complex financial and impact model to inform the development of a £12m supply chain development project in the North West.
Kate holds an MBA in Urban Regeneration from the University of Liverpool and is an associate member of the Market Research Society.
