Rebekah Hicks
Rebekah joined Regeneris Consulting in September 2005. She holds a first class degree in Geography from the University of Nottingham and a Postgraduate Diploma in Urban Regeneration from Sheffield Hallam University.She has developed a strong competence in qualitative analysis and consultation, is an experienced user of the major socio-economic datasets and is skilled in the methodology of IEF-compliant evaluations. In her time with Regeneris Rebekah has worked on a number of regional studies including: the North West Worklessness Study and ERDF Operational Programme (2007-2013) for the Northwest Development Agency, Strategic Evaluation of the ERDF Operational Programme (2007-2013) for Yorkshire Forward and progress against the West Midlands Economic Strategy for Advantage West Midlands.
Rebekah has amassed significant experience relating to organisational review, equality & diversity and the design and impact of quality public space. She was closely involved in Bradford's £24m Big Lottery Fund Living Landmarks bid to create a new City Park, advised NWDA on the appropriate level of funding for public realm at MediaCity:UK and managed an IEF-compliant evaluation of New East Manchester’s 10 year, £33M investment in the Ashton Canal and Medlock Valley.
Rebekah joined Regeneris from Keynote Housing Group in Coventry, where she gained experience of developing and delivering community economic development and housing-led regeneration.
In her spare time, Rebekah is a keen power-kiter and enjoys escaping to the coast and browsing art galleries.
