Regeneris to review ERDF Low Carbon Economy Priority

Regeneris has been commissioned by the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy to conduct a review of the Low Carbon and Energy Priority Axis of the 2014-20 European Regional Development Fund for England.

It will consider the challenges of accessing the available funds, the opportunities to enhance its use in pursuit of local low carbon objectives and the design of future support mechanisms. As part of the research we will be consulting with the Growth Delivery Teams, Local Enterprise Partnerships, ERDF practitioners and low carbon economy specialists, culminating in a series of regional workshops.  The findings of the review will inform the delivery of Priority Four activity during the remainder of the ERDF programme and decisions around future funding of local low carbon activity.

If you’d like to feed into or discuss the review please get in touch with Gemal Mekki (g.mekki@regeneris.co.uk) or Neil Evans (n.evans@regeneris.co.uk).
