Regeneris Consulting takes its wider social responsibilities very seriously. The company encourages its staff in involvement with external communities and throughout 2009 this manifested itself in a number of ways.
Members of both our offices became involved in the Young Enterprise initiative for the first time. Young Enterprise is a leading business and education charity which offers young people a range of programmes based on the principle of Learning by Doing. In London, Regeneris Consulting staff worked with YE Companies in schools across the inner city Borough of Hackney, whilst members of our Manchester offices have been working with a local school in Altrincham. Participation in Young Enterprise gives our staff the opportunity to support or local communities by helping young people develop business skills and prepare for their working lives.

Meanwhile, Chris Paddock, an Associate Director at Regeneris Consulting recently took time out of the office to take a group of Hertfordshire school students on a guided tour of Stratford, East London. The students – studying the Olympic related regeneration of Stratford – benefited from Chris’s extensive expertise and knowledge of the area, gained in part through our wide-ranging portfolio of projects and work in the East London area.
Away from education, Managing Director Stephen Nicol is a member of the Board of Cartwheel Arts- a Rochdale based initiative which aims to promote social inclusion, cohesion, diversity and regeneration through community participation in imaginative and challenging arts projects. He was recruited to the board via the board-bank initiative run by Business in the Arts North West. Stephen is also acting as a business mentor for the owner manager of a small media business through the North West mentoring programme.
