Tees Valley Superfast Broadband

Regeneris has been appointed by Tees Valley Unlimited to assess the existing and future potential for rolling out superfast broadband across the Tees Valley sub-region.

Tees Valley Unlimited (TVU) is the sub-regional Local Enterprise Partnership which brings together partners from Darlington, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Redcar and Cleveland and Stockton-on-Tees. Regeneris is supporting TVU in producing a Local Broadband Plan by providing a detailed assessment of where the public sector might be best placed to intervene in order to extend superfast fibre broadband to all premises in the sub-region. The study will provide a detailed assessment of existing broadband provision, the ability to extend broadband to areas facing socio-economic problems and potential for progressing TVU priorities.

This is the latest in a line of work Regeneris has undertaken on the extension of superfast broadband across the country. We have worked for BDUK, and for broadband projects in South Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, North Yorkshire, Suffolk and Birmingham among others. For more information on this study or any of our other broadband related work, contact Simon Hooton in our Manchester office (s.hooton@regeneris.co.uk) on 0161 234 9910.
