Hatch Regeneris provides industry-leading social and economic analysis, development strategy, master planning, engineering, implementation and programme management to clients in the UK, and beyond. Through industry-leading social and economic research and analysis, we work with our clients to drive smarter developments, anticipate climate change, create inclusive communities, secure financing, and increase competitiveness.
Our consultants and analysts help clients to understand the economic performance of sectors and locations, assess the economic impact of major projects, make the case for major planning applications, devise economic strategies, and evaluate government programmes. We deliver insightful and innovative research for our clients on a wide range of economic issues including employment, skills, innovation, infrastructure, land and property, culture, leisure and tourism. Working on a wide range of projects across the UK and overseas, there is opportunity to develop skills and experience on a local and a global level; with potential opportunities for international travel also available.
Do you have what it takes?
This is an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to start or develop their careers, with:
- a good degree (2:1 or better) in economics, human geography, urban regeneration, or related subjects such as data science and social research
- a real interest in economic development and regeneration issues
- strong numeric and analytical skills
- excellent report writing and presentation skills
- good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
It would also be desirable to have:
- a relevant Masters level degree
- relevant work experience in economics, urban regeneration and/or consultancy
